Companions of the Order of Malta

This society was formed in 1990 for those who wished to be associated with the Order and to support its hospitaller and religious works in Scotland and the North of England. Membership is open to all who wish to support these objects.

The Companions join the members of the Order in their work in Scotland and take part in their religious and social activities..
In addition the Companions run social and fundraising events of their own. The Knights Ball, held in Edinburgh in February, is a social high spot
